What was the best thing about the O-Ringen in 1993?
— 1993 was a special year for all Swedish orienteers, due to the competition ban during spring which followed the tragic deaths in Swedish orienteering. I was really desperate to compete when the O-Ringen started. To be standing 5 days later as the overall winner was a surprise, and a HUGE and amazing experience!

Calm, methodical orienteering with constant contact with the map. Look up for better visibility and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
What should people do in Halland when they aren't competing?
It is the sea and the coast that attracts me. Lying on a sun-warmed rock, enjoying the summer sun and listening to the waves, that's life! Varberg Fortress is a classic that you should / must visit!

— O-Ringen is always a big challenge which where good preparation and a positive attitude gives positive results. Good direction is important in this terrain so that reading the map isn't too demanding. However, most importantly you need to be in the fight after the second day and be mentally ready to fight for the three final days. Ride Hard- Have fun!

— O-Ringen is much more than just competing and running. In order to succeed you should also relax between the races. Personally I would go to Varberg with some friends and surf and swim.
