S3 Arena Villshärad/Ringenäs

The thirds stage is in typical Halland sandy forest, especially with pine and birch trees. The climb is moderate,. A large amount of the undergrpeth is grass covered sandy areas where it will be fast. Runnability is mainly good except for a number of slow green areas with pine trees that grow more horizontally than vertically. The shorter courses go through apath filled area. The longer courses switch between forested, detailed sanddunes and flatter, less detailed areas, so ability to change tempo will be out to the test.

All courses have a lot of their controls in open sanddunes with a breathtaking view over the sea. Some of the controls even have the taste of salt water. When competitors run in to the finish, spectators can enjoy the view of the sea at the same time, as the competitors have the sea behind them on the run in.
