The O-Ringen office in Mohed is a hive of activity. But the general secretary Karl-Erik Jonsson, who is responsible for making sure that all preparations are done and that everything works when everything kicks off at the weekend, is calm as usual in the days before the start.

O-Ringen have now changed their entry system to Eventor – the same system used for all orienteering competitions in Sweden. Before 15th june it´s possible to make a late entry via Eventor, after that is last minute entry or diect entry at the competition.

The age curve of our participants is moving up and we have found it is necessary to add another two classes. Every 5-year age class, even up to the HD65 class, has had a short, ordinary and beginners class whereas HD70 has had only a regular and beginners class and from 75 and up there has only been one class. Now that the older generation is becoming more and more enthusiastic we are taking a cautious step and supplementing the 70 age class with a short class.
