Erik Hannrup first overall winner

Erik Hannrup from IF Thor in Uppsala become the first overall winner in O-Ringen 2012. Before start at stage 5 he was more than seven minutes before the guy at second place. ”I decided to take it easy today and that was good since it was difficult today with a lot of paths that wasn’t on the map”.

In the end, Erik was more than 9 minutes before the runner up.

”It was a good course for the last stage since it was a lot of road choices”, says Erik.

This was to the first time he was the overall winner in O-Ringen, but when asked what he will remember from this years competiton, he mentions something else.

”I will remember the wonderful weather.”
