Big interest for the O-Ringen before the 1st November deadline

The first entries deadline for the O-Ringen Halland 2012 closes on 1st November. Compared to previous years the entry numbers look promising, even with a few days left. The interest levels haven't been this high this early in the year since the O-Ringen Sälen 2008.  
Tradition shows that there are usually a lot of entries that come in right before the deadline. Even though there are a few days before the deadline we can see from the interest levels that next years big orienteering event in Halmstad is going to be well attended. The entry numbers are looking very good compared to previous years and at this point compared to 2010 and 2011 they are almost duoble.

What do you believe is the main reason so many have already entered?
–I believe that it is the attractive concept of Halmstad as a nice holiday town with sun and sand, alongside the offer of good and varied orienteering terrain. As there were a few less participants in 2011 there are many who are interested again. And at the same time those who were there for 2011 have a taste for more, as it was a very good event, comments Mark Baljeu.

What are you looking forward to most?
–That there will be loads  of participants at the O-Ringen again, answers Mark without doubt.
