Holiday on the children's conditions

In Boden we have thought of the children. There are numerous activities which are suitable to families with children, but also all others who are a child at heart. Several facilities of high quality offer both laughter and good memories to take home.
Western Farm opens in the summer, where a visit it like being thrown straight into a wild western film. Both the environment and people are typical for 1879. Accompany the sheriff on a hunt for thieves, see the entertaining show, jump in the hay, ride in a horse and carriage, ride on the electronic bull and eat cowboy food in the saloon. A real western experience. If you want to take part in Boden's exciting history as a military town then the Defense Museum and Rödbergs fort are well worth a visit. The Defense Museum offers a journey through Swedish defense history from the end of the 1800's up until today. There is also a display of Norrland locks, interactive displays, an extensive display of uniforms, vehicles, guns and tanks and even a café and a shop. In the craft room children can use their creativity and outside they can test themselves on the army obstacle course, designed for children.

Continue the journey with a guided tour of Rödbergs fort, which is one of the most lavish defense secrets of all times. The fort is authentically decorated and open for visitors by guided tour daily throughout summer. From Rödbergs fort there is a fantastic view and you can even see more of the other forts that make up Boden Fortress.

An exciting experience for slightly older children is Area 66. A laser game facility where the game area is apx 400kvm and separated into 15 different rooms with the theme of the interior of a space ship. The equipment is completely radio based, which means that the players avoid unnecessary waiting time. There is also a café where you can monitor the playing area on a large screen. Book in advance.

Two attractions of high quality are the outside pool at Bodens Camping and Baths with both small and large pool, jacuzzi, water slides and iceberg! The family and adventure pool NordPoolen is a widely known indoor pool where the adventure section is obviously the favourite among younger swimmers. In the center there is also the popular park Smörblomman.
