A small idyllic town full of life

The annual town festival Boden Alive, offers markets, entertainment, dance and carnival. In the scenic Björknäs area can you enjoy summertime dance, listen to music and take a break at the restaurant Norrigården. It is also just nice to walk around and enjoy the surroundings here. A stone throw from the center there is a residential area and an old church ton with its small quaint church cottages. Walking around here will take you back in time a hundred years to when the cottages were used by church visitors. The cottages are now rented out to tourists. Along Bodån and Bodträsket from the center down towards the campsite is a really beautiful walk.

If you like sport and games then you have to visit the Peab race track, which is the country's most northern racecourse. You can see everything from 'ponnytrav' to V75 here. Eat some food and see a lunch time race or make an evening of it.

If you want to watch some football then you should go to Boden's latest pride, Boden Arena. At the new multi arena you can see both cup games of international standard, international matches, derbies and concerts. In addition to a large football stadium with seating for apx 5 000 the arena also has a sports hall for sporting events and even fairs and congresses.

A calmer experience is to play golf at Boden's golf course. Thanks to the ingenius design with varied terrain and exceptional care the course is appreciated by golf players from the area and by visitors.
