O-Ringens miljöpolicy

As one of the world's biggest sporting events the O-Ringen wishes to be a leader and good role model in environmental awareness. We will profile the O-Ringen as an eco-friendly event that takes care of nature.

The entire organisation must be engaged in environmental work and all employees and officials must weigh environmental concerns in the decisions taken.

Gradually, the O-Ringens environmental influence will be reduced through conscious choices and as far as possible we will:

    * Select partners, suppliers and sponsors engaged in committed environmentally friendly work
    * Select products and services with evidence of good performance
    * Households with material resources
    * Reuse and recycle materials
    * Limit the transport and energy use and use renewable energy source
    * Preserve open-air, natural and cultural values in all areas.
    * Monitor, evaluate and improve our environmental efforts.
