Results in LiU-Elite sprint

It was a real party we got to experience in the Lion pit arena! Sunshine, a lot of people and fantastic performances. Today, the orienteering family has really shown the residents of Norrköping how fun it is to run orienteering.

She came, she saw, she conquered!

Tove Alexandersson won her third stage victory in the D21E and has now a satisfying lead in the total of 14,23 minutes ahead of Sara Hagström.

In H21E, this week's giant match continued and today Emil Svensk pulled the longest straw before Ruslan Glebov, who however holds away in the total and leads by 1,56 seconds ahead of Svensk after three stages.

In the H20E, the local runner August Mollén won a great victory. One can imagine that it was nice to get a victory when the whole of Norrköping was filled with enthusiastic orienteering public. However, the margin was not very large. Axel Granqvist who has really found the top form this week was only 7 seconds behind in second place. Axel Granqvist still leads in the total.

British junior talent Grace Molloy, who recently got her big international breakthrough at JVM in Denmark, managed to defeat the other girls in the D20E class. She won 9 seconds before Elena Pezzati Great Tando OK. In the total, Anine Lome from Hamar OK is still in the lead.

Axel Elmblad from Bredaryd's SOK has proved to be really stable during the week and was rewarded with a victory in today's sprint. H18E became the toughest class with the entire pallet within 9 seconds. In the total, Viktor Svensk is still in the lead, only 5 seconds before the sprint winner Axel Elmblad. It can be a real shiver to finish this week.

Tilda Östberg took home the victory in D18E but it wasn´t an easy victory. With 10 seconds of lead at the turn, it felt clear but the race was about to slip out of her hands. When she stamped at the finish line, the margin was down to only a second ahead of Hanna Lundberg from OK Renen. However, Hanna retains the total lead.
