Stina Good, 3,5 years old from Linköping, today performed her first orienteering ever at the String-O/Miniknat. Stina found all controls!
Stina gives the String-O/Miniknat thumbs up and especially liked the control where Bamse's grandmother offered a taste of her homemade special honey! In addition to Bamse's grandmother, the today's course offered controls with gymnastics with Minihopp and throwing cones in jars for the special honey among other things.
With Stina to the stage of the day was Stina's mother Elin and her little brother Edward 1 year old. No one in the family have ever been to an orienteering competition before but today they took the chance when O-Ringen is arranged in their immediate area. Mother Elin got the question about her first impressions of orienteering and the arrangement of O-Ringen.
- There were far more participants than I had imagined and a larger age distribution. I really want to run myself! When I see all these people I think if they can do it, I could be doing it aswell. I didn't think when I came here that I would be struck by the feeling and the desire to try myself, says Elin.
There was no own course for mother Elin today but the family was very happy with the String-O/Miniknat.
- It was a very ambitious course with fun adventure and experience stations, Elin continues.
On the question of whether the family can think of visiting O-Ringen again, the answer is "Absolutely!".
- I'm already thinking of re-visiting this O-Ringen so that I can try a course myself aswell, Elin concludes.
Nice reviews about the first stage String-O/Miniknat, and the adventure has just begun! Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8: 30-14: 30 the adventure continues for the youngest. Welcome!
