On Wednesday 24 July there will be a bus tour for those who want to see culture and crafts in the Finspång area. There is also a free shuttle bus to the glass factory and the annual market at Rejmyre.
The Finspång tour, which starts from Himmelstalund in Norrköping at around 8.30, goes via Finspång castle (1680s, in a mill environment) to Björke Vävstuga (weaving workshop) – an experience for all your senses. In Björke you can buy cushions, tablecloths and handicrafts, among other things. Morning coffee is served in this idyllic spot before the bus continues to Lantbruksmuseet (the agricultural museum) in Ljusfallshammar. The museum has artefacts, implements and tractors from the rural areas of Östergötland, and also serves light lunches.
The bus takes you to the hammer mill in Häfla – a unique display of industrial history where a guide shows you around the smithy, its forge, the hammer, tools and buildings just as they were when the last blacksmith locked the door and went home in 1924. After enjoying afternoon tea or coffee, you return to Himmelstalund on the bus at around 16.15.
The Finspång tour costs SEK 150 including all entrance costs, coffee and cake, and lunch. Buy your ticket at www.finspang.se/oringensfinspangstur
For those who would like to see the traditional market in Rejmyre, the old Rejmyre Glasbruk (glassworks) and handicraft village, book a free return bus ticket from Himmelstalund. You can choose between two different buses: the first at 9.00 returning to Himmelstalund at 14.00 and the second at 11.00, returning at 16.00.

You can drive to these places in your own car, of course, if you prefer to do that.
Welcome to Finspång!
