It is not easy for new members to start orienteering and it can be especially difficult to start at the O-Ringen, this enormous event where everyone appears to know exactly what they are doing, where they should go and how everything works. Now we are focusing on an orienteering school, which has the ski school as its role model.
The layout is simple. Those who want to go to the orienteering school have the opportunity to get practical help with orienteerings basics every day. Simply sign up for the level of orienteering capability you are at and be instructed with the help of experienced teachers. Those who want to can then try their own open course, but this is optional. The leaders can help to choose the correct course with the correct difficulty grade if required.
The orienteering school is there for both children and adults and it is available as a basic course for a day or you can continue to learn more day by day. Perfect for everyone who wants to join in at the O-Ringen but has not dared go out in the forest, or for those who simply want to learn more about orienteering and improve their orienteering technique.
