Selection of Elite Class Runners

The elite class selection process for O-Ringen is partly different compared with other elite events. Please see the following document for a detailed description.

Drop out notice

Elite class drop outs must as soon as possible be notified to elit@oringen.se. From Monday 14 July notifications should be made to either Håkan Eriksson +46 [0] 280-488024, +46 [0] 70-6364172 or David Andersson +46 [0] 73 932 60 75.

Drop outs received prior to 18.00 on Saturday 19 July will result in an upgrade of a runner from the waiting list.

Should drop outs occur after this time they must also be notified to either the above telephone numbers or directly to the competition office at the assembly area.

Drop outs

Drop out seats are allocated to the runner with the best ranking ID on the waiting list. Runners on the waiting list are themselves responsible to look out for a possible upgrade to elite class. An upgraded runner loses his seat in the long class. The list of selected runners will be updated regularly and posted according to the schedule below. Final list of selected runners and start list for the elite classes will be posted 15.00 on Sunday 20 July at the latest at the competition office in the event centre.

Runners on the waiting list, not wanting to be upgraded, must absolutely and as soon as possible notify the organizer. See drop out notice below for contact info. Upgraded runners must pick up a new number bib prior to 22.00 on Sunday 20 July at the competition office in the event centre or prior to start at the competition office in the assembly area of Day 1.
